Flisvos Marina, Greece’s first exclusive marina to offer large-scale mooring capacity for mega-yacht owners from Greece and abroad has been awarded the prestigious 5 Gold Anchors Platinum, the highest distinction of the Global Gold Anchor Scheme.

The 5 Gold Anchors Platinum is the institute’s highest distinction, which places  Flisvos Marina among the best marinas in the world for its superior premises and excellent services.

Flisvos Marina is the second mega-yacht marina in Europe to receive the Platinum accreditation, while at the same time it is the first and only marina in the South-East Mediterranean that exceeds the five Golden Anchors.

The award ceremony took place on October 27, 2018, at the Maritime Navigation Museum at the marina, with the completion of the ICOMIA World Marinas Conference 2018, which took place in Greece from October 25 to October 27.

LAMDA Flisvos Marina SA CEO Stavros Katsikadis said, "This accreditation is of special importance to us as it recognises the constant effort of the marina to promote high-quality yachting services in Greece.

The Flisvos Marina is a model of operation and service, belonging to the most distinguished marinas of the world. This accreditation is a testament to our commitment to continuously improving our facilities and services."

To receive the award, the Flisvos Marina had to meet the demanding criteria set by the Global Gold Anchor Scheme and carry out a 15-month program to upgrade its facilities and services.

The commercial complex, that stretches across 3,800 sq.m, features a majestic Mediterranean esplanade lined with fine dining and shopping venues as well as an array of special events throughout the year for yacht owners and visitors alike.
