Greece's President Prokopios Pavlopoulos inaugurated today the introduction of the Tissue and Organ Donor Card, at a special event at the Presidential Mansion.
The President signed the first Tissue and Organ Donor Card on the occasion of the National Organ Donation Day, underlining that organ donation is the highest form of solidarity and offer to fellow human beings.
Pavlopoulos also noted that organ and tissue donation is a human duty, and expresses "humanitarianism and solidarity for every person in any society or place in the world."
