Kate Middleton and Prince William set to throw Christmas Party in Cyprus

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William, and Kate Middleton will be hosting two very special Christmas extravaganzas- one in London and one in Cyprus, for the Royal Air Force service members and their families.

The Christmas party in London is being held in joint partnership with the Royal British Legion, which services the families of deployed military personnel in Cyprus.

According to Harpers' BAZAAR UK, the London event will feature “stalls where children can decorate stockings, make snow globes and craft Christmas crackers. There will also be a photo booth and post box at the event for attendees to send personalised messages to loved ones serving in Cyprus.”

William and Kate’s Christmas parties for RAF Personnel is “in recognition of the unique contribution and sacrifices serving personnel and their families make year-round, and especially when they are separated during the festive period.” They will deliver Christmas gifts to the military personnel and their families to make their Christmases extra special.

The day after the London party, the future King and Queen announced via Kensington Palace’s twitter that they will travel to Cyprus, to personally greet the military personnel stationed and serving their, while celebrating Christmas with them.

The Duke and Duchess will also officially open the Oasis Centre at RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus, a space for personnel to relax when they aren't on shift.
