One of the world’s leading fitness sensations, Kayla Itsines and fiancé Tobi Pearce, have announced they are expecting their first baby in May 2019.
The couple who have been together for six years, are over the moon and so excited to be starting their own family.
Kayla said that she’s wanted kids ever since she met Tobi, and it’s something they have always talked about. “It turns out that when we were ready it was just perfect timing. I think he will make the most perfect father, I’ve never seen him so excited about anything. He has already planned the funniest fluffy outfits for our winter baby and he talks to my tummy every morning and night.”
The Greek Australian fitness trainer will continue to be a Sweat trainer and develop content throughout her pregnancy and beyond, as she says her BBG community will always remain one of her key focuses. “I’m so blessed to have such a strong BBG community, including many BBG mums throughout the world. I’m so excited to relate to my BBG mums even more through my pregnancy journey,” Kayla said.
Tobi is beyond excited to begin the new chapter in his life with Kayla. “It’s definitely our largest achievement to date and I can’t wait to be a dad,” he said.

Stephanie said that “combining elements from the styles of training I love most — powerlifting and bodybuilding — Build is a gym-based program incorporating machine weights, free weights, resistance bands, and bodyweight exercises. Through Build I want to encourage women to focus on progressing to a new level of conditioning each week while helping them to feel empowered and find joy in setting and achieving goals they never thought they could.”
Sweat’s Founder and CEO, Tobi Pearce said that the Sweat community is “thrilled to welcome trainers Chontel and Stephanie to the Sweat family.
