Greece’s former Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias received a phone call on Thursday by an unknown person threatening to take his life.

The caller, who phoned from a visible phone line, said that Kotzias would be executed.

Kotzias is no stranger to death threats during his tenure and has received similar threats in the past on account of his position on the Macedonian issue.

On one occasion, he received through the post an envelope containing bullets.
