The overjoyed Pappou and Yiayia carried their chairs along with them to the heart of Syntagma and sat directly across from their grandson, who is currently serving as an Evzones, and watched him for an entire hour in awe as he performed his duties as a Presidential Guard.
Afterward, they stood next to the Evzones and took a photo with their grandson, which speaks a thousand words.
The images have since gone viral and people worldwide are commenting Pappou and Yiayia have every right to feel proud of their lad, who is doing his family and entire country proud.
