Greek Coast Guard authorities seized a large quantity of the drug ‘Captagon’ notoriously used by ISIS jihadists, in a container at Piraeus port.

The discovery was made during a joint operation by the Attica Police drugs squad and their Turkish equivalent, with the assistance of the Hellenic Coast Guard, the Greek Financial Crimes Squad (SDOE) and customs authorities.

According to Greek news agency ANA, the shipment had arrived in Greece from the Middle East, probably from Syria, two days ago and its final destination was Croatia.

The pills were hidden in lead pipes.
