Fierce winds force sailing cancellation

Dangerous weather conditions with winds of up to 10 on the Beaufort scale, have forced boats to be docked.

Boats continue to be docked at the port Piraeus due to gale-force winds, with sailings to the eastern Aegean islands, the Cyclades, Crete and the Dodecanese cancelled on Wednesday.

Other cancellations include the following sailings: from Lavrio to Agios Efstratios, Limnos and Kavala; from Kyllini to Zakynthos and Cephalonia islands; Corfu to Lefkimi; and Kavala to Prinos on Thasos island.

Passengers are advised to call ahead of time for future sailings.
