Athens gives warm refuge to the homeless

The municipality of Athens on Tuesday opened two heated shelters for the homeless in Athens (in the districts of Ampelokipi and Kolonos).

At the same time, the Mobile Care Unit of the municipal solidarity and reception centre and municipality police teams will be engaged in street work in areas frequented by the homeless, distributing hot drinks, blankets, and necessities.
