Greece’s tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas has made his way through to the fourth round of the Australian Open and is one step closer to the Quarter Final beating Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili 6-3, 3-6, 7-6, 6-4.
The 14th seeded and 15th ranked Tsitsipas is continuing his charge towards the top and with a strong Greek fan base behind him in Melbourne, Tsitsipas took the first set before losing the second and going to a tie break in the third before taking the third and fourth set.
19th seeded Basilashvili challenged Tsitsipas, however, the Greek player was too strong for his opponent.
Tsitsipas has also made history as he is the first Greek man to make it through to the fourth round of this grand slam and thanked his Greek fans for their support.
