A stunning seaside villa, formerly owned by the family of shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis, is up for sale for 15 million euros.
Located at Lagonissi, in East Attica, the 823 square metre property overlooks the gorgeous Aegean sea.
Named Villa Eartha it belonged to Onassis’ sister Kalliroi Patronikolas and was passed onto her daughter, Marilena before eventually being sold to Greek shipowner Evangelos Pistiolis, who renovated the villa and has been renting it out for 2,500 euro per night over summer.
Style icon and former first lady Jackie O, and her husband Aristotle Onassis stayed at the villa several times during their visits to Athens, as well as other prominent Greek politicians, celebrities and entrepreneurs.
Featuring 8 bedrooms, including a master with ensuite, it also boasts an impressive pool, artificial lake, gym, and a small chapel.
According to local media reports, many Greeks from abroad are already showing a lot of interest in the property and it may be snatched up sooner rather than later!
