A Greek prison inmate was killed following a brawl between Russian and Albanian inmates in the psychiatric ward of Korydallos prison on Thursday.
According to authorities several other foreign nationals were injured in the ensuing brawl which had large numbers of inmates participating armed with makeshift knives.
Some of the injured have been taken to hospitals outside of Korydallos prison, which indicates that they may be seriously injured.
