Congratulations to Greek American actress Rita Wilson, who received the 2,659th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday.

Wilson's star is positioned only four stars away from her legendary husband, American actor and filmmaker Tom Hanks.

At the ceremony she couldn't have been more excited to be joined by her husband and sons Chet and Truman, as well as her celebrity friends including Julia Roberts, Martin Short, Larry David and Nia Vardalos.

Julia Roberts, who starred with both Tom and Rita in Larry Crowne, and with Rita in Runaway Bride, gave a speech at the ceremony. "Rita Wilson is truly a one-woman superpower. From The Brady Bunch and Three’s Company to fabulous movies galore, she eclipses all of that and more with her incredible talent as a singer-songwriter, thrilling us with even more depth, truth, talent. Rita is truly one in a million... I love and admire you. You, Rita, are the OG of Hollywood royalty. You are the unique star who's actually from Hollywood, and I could not be more thrilled and proud" Julia said.

Following Julia Robert's speech, Rita's husband, Tom praised his wife over her acting career from staring in roles to co-producing films My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Mamma Mia! that both were big box office hits. He couldn't of been more prouder of his wife's accomplishments that earned her a star on the Walk of Fame. "Rita Wilson has pitch-perfect taste that is equal of her formidable talents," he stated.

Speaking exclusively to ET about her star on the Walk of Fame, she stated "when you get things like this, it's like icing on the cake, and it makes me feel so connected to my community that I grew up in and I love and that has given me so much. So I'm just really, truly honored as one is. And it's truly a celebration."

"I think, for me, it's always about having family and friends, and you can see by the people that are here, I have all my family and my friends, so having Julia and of course, my husband Tom, whose star is just over there, it's a fantasy come true...It's unbelievable. I walked on this street and read these names, so for me to have my name here is really extraordinary," she continued.

Friday was also a double celebration for Rita, as she also released her new album 'Halfway to Home'.
