One of the world’s largest cruise ships sails into Piraeus, Athens

With the capacity to carry over 4,000 passengers, one of the world’s largest cruise ships 'Spectrum of the Seas' arrived at the port of Piraeus in Athens this morning, Tuesday, April 23.

The impressive cruise ship brought 3,000 tourists to the largest port in Greece.

'Spectrum of the Seas' was delivered to its owners, the Royal Caribbean, in early April and the cruise ship began its maiden voyage from Barcelona five days ago.

'The Spectrum of the Seas', along with its sisters' 'Anthem of the Seas' and 'Ovation of the Seas' are all over 347.1 meters long and 41.4 meters wide.

The first cruise ship of the Quantrum-Ultra class has a rating of 169,000 GRT has the capacity for 4,246 passengers and boasts 2,137 cabins and 18 decks.

'Spectrum of the Seas', Royal Caribbean's first Quantum Ultra-Class ship is "the next evolution" of its Quantum Class and is larger than the Quantum Class ships, according to the Royal Caribbean.
