Greek Australian fitness sensation Kayla Itsines and her fiancé Tobi Pearce have welcomed their first child into the world, a baby girl, Arna Leia Pearce.
“We are so excited for this chapter of our lives. Little Arna is an absolute blessing and we absolutely adore her. We are really taking this time to enjoy these moments together and to be close as a family. It has been an amazing journey and we can't believe she is finally in our arms!” said the excited new parents.
Arna Leia Pearce entered the world late last week weighing 3.2kg.
Both mum and baby are well and the couple is enjoying this precious time as a new family, with Kayla taking some time for herself and enjoying these special moments with Arna as she recovers from giving birth via cesarean.
The birth was announced on Kayla’s Instagram page, with a picture of adorable Arna, in the arms of her doting father Tobi.
Kayla recalls the moments their daughter entered the world, “In that second, we heard her cry for the first time, the doctors and nurses examined her quickly, bought her over to us and said ‘she is absolutely perfect’. My doctor said ‘Look at that hair and those cheeks! Amazing!’ I don’t even know how to describe how I felt in that moment. I looked over at Tobi who looked like the proudest Dad I’ve ever seen, with tears running down his face he gave me a kiss on the forehead and whispered “She’s so perfect, I love you”. Tobi wraps her up and cuddles her and she goes straight to sleep 💤 She’s a happy quiet bubba who LOVES her big Greek family😍” Kayla posted on Instagram for her 11.4 million followers.
Congratulations to Kayla and Tobi, Na Sas Zisi!
