Authentic Italian trattoria opens in the heart of Halandri, Athens

If you are in the Greek capital and craving some authentic Italian pizza and pasta, well-known trattoria Lollo’s from the Aegean island of Antiparos has now opened its doors in the heart of Halandri, and locals are loving it!

The gorgeous and rustic interiors, designed by AK-A architects, match the simple and fresh Italian dishes that are served from Tuesday right through to Sunday.

Set in a 1950s residence in one of Athens’ coolest neighbourhoods, which has a growing number of cafes and cocktail bars popping up, this new Italian eatery has become popular every night of the week for those wanting a chic spot where they can enjoy some casual Italian dining.

From a variety of bruschetta, cheeses, focaccia, antipasto, and salads to choose from, there is also a lovely list of pasta dishes including Tagliatelle al ragu and Ravioli al tartufo, and of course a long list of gourmet and traditional pizza on offer. And for those with a sweet tooth, check out the Tiramisu, Profiterol or Nutella pizza, you won't be disappointed!

There is also a great selection of both Greek and Italian wines, which pair nicely with the food menu.

P.S. Lollo’s Atene is ideal for families, catching up with friends and for first dates!
