Turkish fighter jets violate Greek airspace 99 times

Four Turkish CN 235 spy planes and two Turkish F-16 fight jets violated Greek national airspace 99 times on June 11, 2019, with the Greek Air Force reacting quickly to intercept them.

The majority of the violations were carried out by the four Turkish spy aircraft that flew individually over the Aegean Sea at 6:05 pm yesterday, flying over the islands of Arkioi and Farmakonisi at 22,000 feet.

A second Turkish F-16 at 6:11 pm, overpassed Lipsi at 22,000 feet. In fact, 19 Turkish airplanes in total participated in Turkish provocations in the Northeast, Central, and Southeastern Aegean, with twelve F-16’s and 7 individual aircraft (6 CN-235 and 1 E / P).

The Turkish fighters committed 18 offenses and 99 violations (46 belonging to the fighter jets and 53 to the CN-235), with the Greek Air force needing to intercept.
