Two German men have been arrested for raping a 19-year-old tourist in Hersonissos, a town in Crete.
Both men have denied the accusation, telling investigators they have never met the woman before and have never been with her. The young tourist was medically examined, however, there were no traces of semen, as reports claim the men used condoms.
The rape is said to have taken place last Thursday night when the 19-year-old from Iceland was enjoying her holiday and having a drink at a bar in Hersonissos.
There, according to the case file, she met the two Germans aged 38 and 34, who a short time chatting with her, led her outside the bar and took her to a dark road where they repeatedly and alternately raped her.
The men then fled the scene before the woman finally made her way back to her hotel in a terrible state. The rape victim reported the incident to local police and a little later the two Germans were arrested.
