Greece's number one Eurovision winning songstress Elena Paparizou has become brand ambassador for Greece's iconic tanning product Carroten.
Releasing a song for summer with Carroten called 'Summer and Passion', the video clip promotes the brand's products, which include a wide variety of SPF level sunscreens. As much as many of us love their original cult favourite tanning oil, the brand is now taking a responsible approach and also providing and educating consumers with sun safety tips to avoid the damaging UV effects.
The video clip cleverly showcases Carroten's products with children and adults applying SPF protection, while capturing the essence of Greek Summer whilst also putting out an important message of "safe" fun in the sun. Their SPF levels in sunscreens go up to SPF 50 and their cult favourite tanning oil goes up to SPF 30.
Exciting new additions to their suncare line include a waterproof SPF 30 makeup Compact Powder protecting your face from sunburn and other long-term harmful effects, while simultaneously providing you with a matte long-lasting natural even skin tone. Another newcomer is their Summer Kiss SPF 25 lip balm that is a dual moisturising and caring system, with deep rich hydration and high protection.
Carroten offers many tanning products with protection from head to toe, as well as creams and lotions, including tattoo protecting oil, spray for your hair, a children's range and not to forget their after-sun care products, which keeps your skin hydrated, glowing and assists in keeping that Greek Summer tan lasting longer.

On the subject of Elena Paparizou, last week in Cyprus for the Super Music Awards she won Best Female Singer and Single of the Year for her song 'Kati Skoteino'. The highlight of the night that brought an emotional Elena to (joyful) tears, was being surprised by her former musical partner Nikos Panagiotidis from their band Antique, who presented Elena with her award for Best Female Singer.
The two Swedish born Greeks came to fame in 1999 with their band Antique and went on to come in third winning place at Eurovision in 2001 for Greece with their song (I Would) 'Die For You'. After Antique's success, Elena in 2003 went on to pursue a solo career, which has earned her many awards. The duo is still close friends and will reunite as Antique next month in July for one night only in Sweden for a special anniversary concert performing their greatest hits. Congratulations to Elena for her recent award wins and here's hoping for future Antique reunion shows!
