A ferry on its way to Naxos Port battled strong waves on Sunday, as gale force winds of up to 8 Beaufort swept the Aegean Sea.
The skillful captain stabilised the ferry, which was violently swaying from left to right for around 15 minutes, with many looking on in despair as the ship seemed as though it was about to tip over.
The captain waited for the all-clear from Greek authorities before making his way to the Cycladic port, where other ships were also docked.
All passengers disembarked safely.
Meanwhile, Greek dockworkers on Tuesday announced a 24-hour strike for Wednesday, July 3, which will leave Greece without any ferry services in the middle of peak season.
