Swordfish that appeared in the shallow area of Chalkida beach killed by bathers

A swordfish which swam its way to the shallow area of Chalkida beach yesterday has been caught on video being killed by beachgoers.

At first bathers thought the fish was a shark and immediately ran out of the water, however when it was discovered that it was a swordfish, they began to chase it and throw objects at it which resulted in its death.
