Kyriakos Mitsotakis

Greece’s newly elected Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is scheduled to meet senior EU officials today, Monday 15 July to discuss migration policy.

Specifically, the Greek PM will chair a meeting on migration at the Maximos Mansion, attended by European Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship Dimitris Avramopoulos and the members of his cabinet responsible for migration issues.

Mitsotakis will start by meeting Avramopoulos one-on-one at 10:00 am and both of them will then take part in a broader meeting including Citizen Protection Minister Michalis Chrisochoidis and Alternate Minister for Migration Policy George Koumoutsakos at 10:30 am.
