Greece’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Nikos Dendias departed yesterday for the USA where is he scheduled to have high-level meetings with Trump administration officials as well as senior Democrats.
According to government sources, Dendias is scheduled to have a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo today focusing on bilateral, regional and international affairs.
The Minister will also meet with White House National Security Advisor John Bolton and Senator Robert Menendez.
Dendias is also expected to participate in the Ministerial Conference to Advance Religious Freedom that will be held in Washington on July 17-18 and later attend a round table discussion on the expulsion of Christians from the Middle East and action taken by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in this area, together with the Orthodox Archbishop of America Elpidophoros and US House of Representatives speaker Nancy Pelosi.
