Esteemed Greek-Australian chef Peter Conistis, will be cooking up a storm right in front of your eyes Sydneysiders as he is joined by Food adventurer Maeve O'Meara, for an exclusive Cooking Demonstration on Saturday 3rd August 2019.
Maeve O'Meara is the producer and presenter of Australian television food series, 'Food Safari', which for over two decades has been taking viewers and readers on a worldwide journey, discovering foreign realms of cuisine while meeting home cooks and chefs along the way.
Peter Conistis is a pioneer of 'Modern Greek' cuisine and is the Executive Chef at the acclaimed Alpha Restaurant in Sydney. Bringing his culinary odyssey spanning more than 20 years, at Alpha he showcases the regional Greek recipes from his childhood, served with a modern twist. Peter’s dishes are a testament to his innovation, yet they also retain a homely and accessible quality that makes his food so appealing.
The special event which is not to be missed will see Maeve O’Meara talk in-depth about her Food Safari programs and Peter cook selected recipes from Maeve’s latest cookbook.
