"In the framework of the government's policy for openness and effective economic diplomacy, we were very glad to meet with the Japanese delegation today and encourage their desire to strengthen trade and economic relations between the two countries," Fragogiannis said.
"We actively support the Japanese side's interest in Greek startups in high-tech areas, which also constitutes a form or recognition of the good level of Greece's young scientists," he added.
According to the announcement, the State Minister was accompanied by the head of Japan's Economic Revitalisation Bureau Tomoaki Nakanishi and the Japanese Ambassador to Greece Yasuhiro Shimizu. The Deputy Minister was accompanied by International Economic Relations and Openness General Secretary Grigoris Dimitriadis and the head of Enterprise Greece, Grigoris Stergioulis.
