Former NBA All-Star states Giannis Antetokounmpo shouldn’t have won MVP

Three-time NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas, has stated that he doesn’t think that Giannis Antetokoumpo deserved this years NBA MVP award.

“I’m just going to be blunt, I don’t think he should have won it this year,” Gilbert told NBA scribe, Landon Buford.

He continued to say that the Milwaukee Bucks star didn’t impress him this season. “The reason I say that is because he averaged 27 and ten last year and 27 and 12 this year and shot worse from the free-throw line this season...his impact didn’t do anything. “It’s the team I felt got better."

The NBA MVP title was a tight race between The Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokoumpo and The Beard, James Harden.
