Greece's Development and Investments Minister, Adonis Georgiadis on Tuesday met with the Serbian Ambassador to Greece, Dusan Spasojevic, and discussed issues concerning bilateral relations between Greece and Serbia.
The Minister took the opportunity with the Ambassador to invite his Serbian counterpart to attend the 84th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) and announced that he had accepted an invitation to visit Belgrade, adding that the visit will take place very soon.
On his part, Spasojevic said that Serbia considered Greece a strategic partner in both the Balkans and throughout Europe and desired even closer bilateral relations between the two countries.
"In the meeting with the minister, we also discussed the 84th TIF and will do everything possible so that Serbia is represented at the highest possible level. We are also anxious to organise the trip to Belgrade as soon as possible," said the Ambassador.
