Thessaloniki’s International Fair (TIF), one of the most popular festivals in Northern Greece, is bigger and better this year.
This year, the 84th Thessaloniki International Fair is taking place at the Helexpo - Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre from the 7th to 15th of September 2019. Over 200,000 guests are expected to attend TIF 2019.
TIF is one of the most important events of economic, cultural and social life of Greece. Hundreds of products and companies related to energy, technology, entrepreneurship, innovation, automobile, books and construction will be on display.
This year's country of honour, India will present their businesses, multidimensional culture and history, the gastronomical traditions of its people and their well-known cinema, Bollywood.
Some of Greece’s most popular artists will also take part in TIF, with performances being held on the Music Events stage every night, starting at 9:30pm.
The artistic events kick off with popular Greek singer Themis Adamantidis and music band Melisses on September 8.
Other popular Greek artists who are lined up to perform include the Tsachouridis brothers, Stavento, Lavredis Macheritsas, Nikos Portokaloglou, the Kitrina Podilata music band, Sakis Rouvas and Eleni Foureira.
Paola and Giorgos Papadopoulos will close the 84th Thessaloniki International Fair on September 15.
