Tens of thousands of people gathered in Athens last night to catch 15 of Greece’s leading singers performing together live on stage for a kids charity event ‘Oloi Mazi Boroume’ (All Together We Can).
The concert took place at Kallimarmaro Stadium last night and the performers honoured the work of the great composer Christos Nikolopoulos.

The evening, however, was very emotional due to the sudden death of Greek rock singer Lavrentis Machairitsas, who passed away on Monday morning from a heart attack.
Performers and the audience bid the artist farewell by singing some of his most popular hits including "Kai Ti Zitao."
Some of the 15 artists that performed together on stage included Giannis Ploutarhos, Antonis Remos, Natassa Theodoridou, Stelios Dionysiou, Despina Vandi, Konstantinos Argyros, and Stelios Rokkos.
Most of the proceeds will go towards the children's charity organisation ‘Mazi Gia To Paidi,’ which supports Greek children with special needs.
