Greece’s employment, training and social welfare organization (OAED) announced a significant drop in the number of unemployment people registered with the organisation.
According to OAED, the drop in registered unemployed was 5.06% from August to September, bringing the August total of 888,089 listed as unemployed down to 843,154 total in September.
Additionally, there was a 4.8% drop in those who are registered as unemployed but are not seeking employment, from 73,660 in August to 70,128 in September.
