Costa Navarino is set to become even bigger and better with the announcement of a new round of investments totalling 1.2 billion euros.  TEMES SA, the company behind the award-winning Costa Navarino resort, will create more than 11,200 jobs in the region of Messinia, taking one more constructive step in its 10 years of operation.

Overall, TEMES will have placed over 2.5 billion euros in the Costa Navarino project, which has not only introduced a new form of sustainable tourism to the region but has also stood out as a model for its sustainable practices.

Addressing a 10-year anniversary event held in Kalamata, last week, Achilles V. Constantakopoulos, chairman of TEMES SA, presented the company’s vision for Costa Navarino and the region for the next decade, which will include a series of ground-breaking new investments.

Constantakopoulos said the construction of an exclusive resort scheduled to open in 2021 and set to be among the Mediterranean’s most unique architectural feats complete with suites and villas with pools, spa, health club, and a beach club in front of Navarino Bay.

He went on to refer to a second larger hotel that will be constructed near the famed sandy Gialova Beach and expected to open in 2021 together with the small seaside village complete with shops, recreation areas, restaurants, and cafes and a seaside cinema. Both projects, Constantakopoulos said, will include residences for employees as well as sports facilities.

At the same time, two golf courses are currently being constructed in the Navarino Hills area of the resort set to also open by 2021.

The third phase of works will follow in the Messinia Bay, Constantakopoulos said, where TEMES SA plans to construct four theme-oriented hotel units offering recreational and sports products at affordable prices.

This phase will also include the construction of two more hotels at Navarino Hills offering sports and wellness tourism all year round.
