Greece’s Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis today will attend an official reception hosted by Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace, and it has also been confirmed that US President Donald Trump has extended an official invitation for PM Mitsotakis to meet him at the White House on January 7, 2020.

The Greek leader is attending NATO’s 70th Anniversary Summit and will be in London on Tuesday the 3rd and Wednesday the 4th of December, 2019.

The Prime Minister's program in London on Tuesday is as follows:

- At 12 pm, the Prime Minister will meet with international investors.

- At 7.15 pm (Greek time) PM Mitsotakis, accompanied by his wife Mareva Grabowski Mitsotakis, will attend a reception given by Queen Elizabeth to NATO leaders at Buckingham Palace.

- At 9:30 pm, the Greek Prime Minister and his wife will dine at the Prime Minister's residence (Downing Street) hosted by the United Kingdom's Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

*PM Mitsotakis to attend an official meeting with US President Trump

American officials announced that US President Donald Trump will welcome Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to the White House on January 7, 2020.

Mitsotakis' visit "will celebrate the strong economic, security, and cultural ties between the United States and Greece, an important North Atlantic Treaty Organization Ally," said the White House Press Secretary.

President Trump and Prime Minister Mitsotakis are set to "discuss ways to advance the two nations’ longstanding strategic interests in enhancing stability, prosperity, and cooperation throughout the Balkans and the eastern Mediterranean."

The US President will also emphasize the importance of telecommunications security, especially related to 5G, countering malign influence in the region and promoting religious freedom worldwide, the White House said.
