Unions representing Greek farmers announced protest road blocks for January following their meeting in Nikea, Larissa on Sunday.
The union representatives said their decision was in response to the Ministry of Agriculture's failure to meet their demands.
Several unions and federations are planning to block roads, possibly at the end of January, they said.
Greek farmers participating in the strike action will also drive their tractors to the Agrotica expo in Thessaloniki early in February, as part of the protests.
Issues they discussed at the central Greece meeting on Sunday focused on the price of gas, production costs, and the cost of produce.
