According to a reliable source, Greece’s Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has postponed his visit to Australia, that was scheduled to take place in the first six months of the new year.
In September this year, Mitsotakis met with his Australian counterpart Scott Morrison during the United Nations General Assembly Leader’s Week at its headquarters in New York.
During the bilateral meeting, Mr. Morrison extended an invitation to Mr. Mitsotakis to visit Australia.
“Today I met earlier with the new Prime Minister of Greece, who we hope to be welcoming to Australia next year, in the first half of next year. And I know there’ll be about 400,000 thousand Australians of Greek decent will be saying Yasou to that. Absolutely we’re looking forward to a great visit,” Mr Morrison stated after their meeting.
