Port authorities have reported the discovery of the body of a 75-year-old man on Christmas Day, who had been missing for several days.
The man was found dead aboard a sailing boat in the marine area of the Argolida Bay after a search and rescue operation was launched in the wider area, involving a Coast Guard patrol boat and 5 private vessels, as well as a Coast Guard patrol vehicle.
The Coast Guard discovered his unconscious body on Christmas afternoon at 'Damaria' beach, where it was pulled to the shore and was taken to the Kranidi Health Centre where he was pronounced dead and later identified by relatives.
