The Greek Forum of Refugees reported that two refugees committed suicide by hanging in the city of Kilkis on Christmas Day and Boxing Day respectively.

The two refuges, both in their 30s, were found near the hotel where they were hosted with another 400 refugees.

The first victim was of Afghan origin, father of two children and was found hanged on a bridge outside the hotel, whilst the second man, of Iraqi origin, was also found hanged, in the hallway of the hotel by his roommate, who is in a very bad condition.

Police already recovered the bodies of the two men and confirmed that there was no foul play involved.
