Voting for the 2020 NBA All-Star Game is well underway, with fans of the NBA already voting for their favourite superstars including Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Similar to last year, NBA fans will get the opportunity to send their favourite NBA stars to the All-Star Game as the top vote-getters from both the Eastern and Western Conference will comprise the select group for the showdown which will take place at Chicago’s United Centre on the 16th February 2020.

The top vote-getters from each conference will be named the captains and will be responsible for drafting their team during the televised All-Star Draft on the 6th February. Last season Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James were the top vote-getters as Team Giannis faced-off against Team LeBron.

This season, fans have four ways of voting for their favourite players, including voting through the traditional means on NBA.com and the NBA App, while the league’s partnership with Google has also added additional methods of voting. Fans can vote directly on Google.com or via the Google App as well using any Google Assistant-enabled device by saying, “Hey Google, vote for the NBA All-Star Game.”

Fans can submit votes for ten unique players per day from December 26th through to January 21st. There are five “2-for-1 Days” planned where votes will count as double (January 3rd, 4th, 11th, 17th, and 21st).

Fans will account for 50 percent of the vote, while all current players and a media panel will account for 25 percent each. Players and the media will also be able to complete one ballot, featuring three frontcourt players and two guards from both the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference.
