Greece one of the worse ‘offenders’ for car theft

A recent report by the European Unions statistical agency, Eurostat, revealed that Greece is the country with the second highest police-recorded car thefts in the EU.

The report revealed that during the period between 2015 and 2017, 697,000 car thefts were recorded yearly by the police, a 29 percent reduction compared to the 983,000 vehicles stolen annually between 2008 and 2010.
