Greece's Anna Korakaki has started the year off with a bang, winning the gold medal in the 10-metre air pistol at the H. H. The Amir of Kuwait Ninth International Shooting Grand Prix.
After an excellent 583/600 race (98, 97, 96, 97, 98, 97), she entered the final and won the gold medal with a performance of 240.8!
Next week, Korakaki will take part in competitions in Munich, while next month she will compete in the European Championships. Later on this year she will also participate in the Olympic Games in Tokyo, where she has qualified and is one of the favourites to compete.
