Konstantinos Floros is appointed chief of the Hellenic Armed Forces

Following a session of the Council for Foreign Affairs and Defense (KYSEA) on Friday headed by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, it was announced that Lieutenant General Konstantinos Floros was appointed as chief of the Hellenic Armed Forces.

The council also unanimously decided to appoint Lieutenant General Haralambos Lalousis as the new head of the Hellenic Army, and Vice Admiral Stilianos Petrakis as the new head of the Hellenic Navy.

Floros, who previously held the post of commanding general of the Hellenic First Army, replaces Christos Christodoulou who is retiring.
