Greek Ministerial delegation concludes Japan visit

Greece’s Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Kostas Fragogiannis, of Energy, Gerassimos Thomas, and of Development, Ioannis Tsakiris, accompanied by Alexis Patelis, the head of the Finance Office of the Prime Minister’s General Secretariat, and the Secretary General for International Economic Affairs, Grigoris Dimitriadis, are concluding today their 3 day visit in Japan where they went to hold meeting of political and investment interest.

The delegation held meetings with members of the Japanese government, entrepreneurs, and the country’s economic agencies with visits being carried out in the context of the strengthening of the two countries’ relations and following a long series of consultations with representatives of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), who visited Greece in early September.

The schedule of meetings include the Finance Ministry, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Technology, the Ministry of Defence, the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), the Development Bank of Japan (DBJ), the Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), the Japanese Business Federation (KEIDANREN), and the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO).
