Calling all Greek Australians: Channel 7's new 'Plate Of Origin' cooking show is casting

Greek Australians, you have the chance to show off your cooking skills on TV and prove that the Greek cuisine is the best there is, on celebrity chef Manu Feildel’s new cooking show ‘Plate of Origin’.

Nicknamed “the Olympics of cooking”, the Channel 7 program will see cooks of diverse cultural backgrounds set against each other for a massive cook off!

The casting website explains, "Join Manu and two of the world's biggest food superstars on their new international cooking show! We're looking for food from all around the world: Japanese, Spanish, Thai, Russian, Eastern European, South American, Vietnamese, Greek… Find a teammate, tells us which cuisine you'd like to represent and apply today."

While the description refers to two food superstars, it is believed that former MasterChef judges Matt Preston and Gary Mehigan will be joining the contestants on their journey.
