Nick Kyrgios has pulled out of the ATP Tour's New York Open because of a shoulder injury.
The Greek Australian drawcard was set to make his first appearance in the tournament on Long Island but announced Saturday that his shoulder issues had flared up and that he was unable to play.
"Hey New York Open fans, really disappointed I can't make it this year. I was really looking forward to playing on the black courts at NYCB Live," Kyrgios said in a statement.
