Giorgos Mazonakis is recovering after he injured his hand on Friday, which unfortunately led to him cancelling his upcoming performances at Fever G.

Breaking the news on Instagram on Friday, the popular Greek singer posted a photo of himself sitting on his couch with his right hand in a sling, along with the caption "What the moment brings..."

Fans immediately sent him support messages, wished him a fast recovery and curiously asked what happened to his hand.

On Saturday, 'Mazo' thanked everyone for their well wishes and kind words, also informing them that unfortunately for the time being, he will not be singing at Fever G.

It was not a serious accident, but his doctors recommended caution and rest.

He even showed us his unmistakable style in the photo, using a sock from his own collection he designed, to bandage his injured hand.

Fever G will continue with the rest of the artists, namely Panos Kiamos and Dimos Anastasiadis, until Giorgos Mazonakis returns.

Last Thursday, Mazonakis was in downtown Athens for a press conference regarding the upcoming premiere of Your Face Sounds Familiar. The singer will be a judge again for the second season, alongside Alexis Georgoulis, Dimitris Starova and Mirka Papakonstantinou.

The ANT1 Show has already filmed the first episode for the season which premiers on Sunday February 16, where we will see George Mazonakis without his hand in a sling.
