The Health Ministry has reported two new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Greece to three.
One of the new cases involves a relative of the 38-year-old woman (who has not been publicly named) in Thessaloniki, who was the first patient in Greece to test positive for the novel coronavirus.
According to sources, she is a well-known designer who had travelled to northern Italy to attend Milan’s fashion week.
The third case was reported in Athens, a female who had also visited northern Italy.
According to sources, upcoming carnival celebrations across the country, could be canceled as a precaution.
