Greek public broadcaster ERT over the weekend premiered 'SUPERG!RL', the song 17-year-old Stefania will sing when she represents Greece at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest.

The song 'SUPERG!RL' has a powerful message. According to the announcement it encourages “teenagers to believe in themselves and go after their dreams. It narrates Stefania’s own story since, as a young woman she has had to find the power to combine her obligations as a student with her dream of singing.”

'SUPERG!RL' is the song creation by composer group Arcade together with well-known Eurovision veteran Dimitris Kontopoulos, who has composed a number of Eurovision hits including ‘Scream’ (Russia 2019), ‘You Are the Only One’ (Russia 2016) and ‘Hold Me’ (Azerbaijan 2013).

Along with the release of the song, composer Dimitris Kontopoulos spoke about the challenge of finding the right song for Stefania. “To be honest it was difficult to find the right song for her, since we wanted the track to fit both her age and personality," he said.

Stefania will sing 'SUPERG!RL' on the Eurovision 2020 stage in Rotterdam (The Netherlands) on the 14th May, and on the 16th May if she (fingers crossed) makes it to the final.
