Number of Coronavirus cases in Greece hits double digits



The tenth confirmed case of coronavirus in Greece was announced by the Ministry of Health early on Thursday morning.

Reports state that the Greek woman, the wife of the ninth confirmed case, was a member of the Israel and Egypt travel team.

She is under observation at a hospital in Patras and is reported to be in a very good condition.

The incident was diagnosed at the Greek Pasteur Institute.

Further details are also emerging of the ninth case, the 66-year-old retired teacher from Amaliada. He remains in a serious but stable condition, without intubation. The results for his daughter who was tested for the deadly virus, has also come back negative.

Health authorities are still trying to track down the people who have been in close contact with the infected man since he returned to Greece.
