Olympiacos: Vangelis Marinakis diagnosed with coronavirus

Vangelis Marinakis, Greek shipowner and owner of the football clubs Olympiacos in Greece and Nottingham Forest in England, informed his family, friends and followers via social media that he was diagnosed with coronavirus.

"The recent virus has 'visited 'me and I felt obliged to let the public know. I feel good as I take all the necessary measures and I discipline to the doctors' instructions. I strongly advice all my fellow citizens to do the same. I wish all a quick recovery," he posted.

Amongst all the doom and gloom, Marinakis highlights the glimmer of hope, which citizens of the world must also have and share amid the outbreak.
