Approximately 71, 694 people infected from the coronavirus have recovered according to the latest data from the monitoring map from John Hopkins University.
The optimistic outcome represents nearly 50% of reported cases which currently stand at 145,369.*
The country with the most reported cases is still China at 80,973 followed by Italy at 17,660 with Iran in third place with 11,364 cases.
The USA is at 2,174, Australia at 200, Canada at 193, Greece at 190 while Cyprus has one of the lowest at 14 reported cases.
There have been 5,429 deaths to dates from the coronavirus.
