Greek shipping tycoons Panagiotis and Giorgos Angelopoulos on Tuesday announced the donation of 1,000,000 euros to the Greek state for the purchase of equipment to support Intensive Care Units against the coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement, the donors said the amount “will be deposited immediately and will be made available through the Greek Shipowners’ Social Welfare Company Syn-Enosis.”
